Hi
Consult a psychologist and explain about the past incident. The incident has affected you deeply and you are feeling anxious and depressed. You are not able to let go of the past. You want to be happy again. You are often having thoughts of the past and it is affecting your happiness.
To feel better give yourself space and time to process thoughts, feelings, and emotions. It is sometimes difficult to let go of certain thoughts but you can look at those thoughts differently and feel positive. You can also reflect on your positive qualities and work on feeling good about yourself
It is important to remember that over a period of time you will feel letter.

Hi... Please consult a Psychologist. You need professional help to overcome your presenting issues. If this is relationship/friendship related concern it will get better with simple counselling and if it is something more, therapeutic approaches like CBT, CCT, Existential, Psychoanalysis, etc. may be used. Please do not try to deal with this on your own and seek professional help.
