In my opinion you need to do cold packs followed by stretching exs known as cryostretch...and after that you need to do strengthening exs with minimum weights and repetitions and gradually increasing them... In stretching exs u need to do hamstring exs , gluteus stretch , quadriceps stretch , piriformis stretch followed by strengthening of the same muscles... get well soon and take care...

Towel Hamstring Stretch Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it.. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated Hamstring Stretch While sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds Repeat 3 times for each leg.

If its coming only while playing football , mostly it is a muscular strain. physiotherapy plays a major role in such conditions. I recommend to do exercises initially under supervision as I believe wrong way of doing exercises can aggravate the symptoms.

Hello, Groin pain is a complex phenomenon. It could be a adductor (inner thigh) muscle strain or a bone stress reaction (Pubic bone). What ever it is, It can't be treated by few home exercise. Only rest will weaken your muscles.

You must consult a sports physiotherapist.  He will be able to help you by doing some soft tissue release and prescribe 6-12 weeks of progressive rehab exercises program.

Hello....... I can understand your problem... If you have history of groin injury in the past you must consult doctor... But mild pain will be there occasionally due to contraction of cremasteric muscle of scortum... Consult general surgeon in nearest hospital ..
