Grade 2 fatty liver
My father (75 years old) having some pain in stomach regularly these days (on sides of stomach). Consulted general physician, few tests done like Abdomin scanning, LFT, lipid profile, Hba1c etc. All are normal except one thing mentioned in the scanning report that he has Grade 2 fatty liver. Doctor just gave some syrup to take before food (I think for acidity and gas) and advised to take food on time and take medicine for constipation if required and suggested to consult Gastroenterologist if the problem repeats (to see if Endoscopy is required). Problem is repeating now and I am looking for advice. Please help. My father is diabetic, but under control ( Hba1c 6.1).

I am stationed at Hyderabad. You can consult over here or visit in person so that endoscopy can be done if required. Best wishes Dr Dhiraj Agrawal MD DM Gastroenterology Hyderabad
