Hi,
If your wisdom tooth is erupting in the right way..you can get rid of the pain with over the counter pain killer. Usually the pain can be the result of lack of space for the wisdom.tooth to fully erupt. A x ray will reveal the position of the tooth. The treatment depends on the the information we gather.from clinical examination and x ray.
Plz consult the dentist if you still suffer with pain.

visit an oral surgeon.If it is an impacted wisdom tooth that is infected,suggest you get it removed.

If pain worsens there may be swelling, inability or difficulty to open mouth, or pain may radiate to head and neck. If the erupting tooth doesnt have enough space these problems arises. so when you visit a dentist, he will advise an x- Ray and assess th space present. if doesn't have space , he will advise extraction.

Avoid taking hard foods, donot apply any balm or massage on that area. no heat application.
