Apart from deficiencies it is the lack of adequate physical activity which leads to this problem.
He should go for a slow jog for about 2 km. He should also do light physical activity like stand ups and sit-ups. He should also swing his arms - forward backward, Swing arms infront of chest , circumduction.
These things will tone up his muscles and he will not have a catch
Could be because of calcium deficiency.
Get S.calcium level test.
Consult with reports.
For now apply diclo gel to the muscle catch area, that relax muscle catch and releave pain.
