I am a breastfeeding mother of one Yr old.. My problem is that I often catch cold which has increased after my delivery..Its either blocked nose or continuous sneezing or sore throat or runny nose accompanied with irritation, tiredness and sometimes with moderate cough This keeps repeating twice a month specially in this rainy and winter season even though I am residing near Chennai (where the lowest temp is not below 20°c)..
I only get relieved after taking prescribed medicines or an injection.. But no use of it after 2 weeks. I follow every home remedies to keep myself away from cold.. But didn't help..
I was already allergic before my pregnancy but not this often.
Due to this problem I couldn't take care of my baby (as she gets affected too).. I don't go out in the evening.. I have avoided chilled foods...
I am frustrated becoz of this as it affects my day to day life. I consulted few doctors regarding this which resulted a bag of medicines... please help me with ur suggestions...

What you are describing looks like chronic sinusitis which is usually seen in patients with nasal septum deviation which blocks the normal drainage of sinuses which then become infected due to accumulation of mucous and cause the described symptoms. You need an x ray and physical examination of your nose and throat.
Next Steps
See an ENT you might need a surgery since you have mentioned it occurs twice a month and affecting your daily chores.
