Gestational Diabetes
I am 29 weeks pregnant, having cervical stich placed in 20 weeks. Post that I am on bedrest. Oral glucose tolerance test was done it was 209. After that started with glycomet 500 BD and GDM diet, post meal values were in control but fasting values were 107,108 range. Then I was advised to increase it to glycomet 850, now fasting values are coming around 95-97 range and post meal values are always less that 110 range. I am slowly walking after every meal for like 10-15mins, can't do anything more intense as stitches are in place. Is the fasting value normal now 95-97? Or should consult to increase the dose/start with insulin. Please suggest.

Hi., Sugar levels are fine. Continue proper diet and mild walking. You can switch to insulin, if having any gastric symptoms.
