In general you should eat:
1. Plenty fruits and vegetables
2. Moderate amounts of lean protein
3. Moderate amounts of whole grains such as bread, cereals, pasta, rice + starchy vegetables such as corn and pasta.
4. Fewer foods that have sugar such as soft drinks, fruits juice and pastries.
You should eat small to moderate size meals and one or more snacks each day
Keep amounts of food ( carbohydrates, fats, protein) about the same from day to day. This can help you keep your blood sugar stable.
