Can a person have both allergic rhinitis and GERD. Is chronic cough and sore throat the symptoms of both?

Yes...a person can have these both diseases simultaneously....and both cause similiar symptomatology!

Allergic rhinitis and leads to post nasal discharge into the throat causing discomfort to the throat that is the reason for your sore throat GERD apart from causing sore throat the reflux of acids may enter into airway causing cough that is called LPR henceBoth can present in same person
