Allergic rhinitis
I have allergic rhinitis since last 12 years. It doesn't happen throughout the year. This year it started from last month and have to take montek lc everyday 2-3 days. I suffer from nasal itching, eye itching and sneezing. Can I avoid montek lc and take steroid nasal spray to control the symptom? If yes suggest any steroid nasal spray name?
Also, can montek lc be used for long term?

Hello madam, it seema ur are found ti suffering from moderate to persistent allergic rhinitis. Yes you can change ti steroid nasal spray. But before that it is good to consult to a doctor For frequency and dosage

You can use fluticasone nasal spray 2 puffs twice daily for 15 days followed by 1 puff twice daily x 15 days

Hope you are doing well.
Yes rightly so, you need to start taking steroid nasal spray (Furamist-AZ). This spray please take 1 puff each nostril twice daily(once after waking up and once before going to bed). Please continue the spray for at least a month and then you can consult any ENT Specialist for further guidance.
In addition you can continue tab Montek LC as and when required for exacerbation of symptoms.
