Rhinitis and congestion
So initially I was diagnosed with URTI which got sorted and then I developed rhinitis which I'm taking medicines for. But even after the 5th day of medication ending one problem persisted is nasal congestion which is making it difficult for me to sleep even when I'm super sleepy and tired. I took steam and saline spray but those effects have been temporary. The moment I sit or lie down it blocks atleast one nose, if not both. I asked doctor he asked me to continue meds for 3 more days and when I specifically asked he said alternative to drops is steam. But this way I am unable to sleep. What to do?

Continue taking steam inhalation thrice daily. Can use otrivin nasal drops for 3-5 days. It will temporary open up the nose. Then you can take good steam. If required can be started on oral decongesants.
Next Steps
do some good home remedies. to consult for further discussion
