Is Maltrodextrin present in protein powder and health drinks harmful for body. Does it cause Diabetes in long run?

Maltodextrin is bad for our health it reduces good bacteria and increase the number of harmful bacteria Can lead to weight gain, higher level of bad  cholesterol and type 2 diabetes

Hi, Using Maltrodextrin in the long run is not safe, as it can raise the glycemic load which could lead to fat storage. These can also raise the gastric issues in the body. Advised to consume in moderation. Thanks
