Dear Patient, It seems like a case of plaque/calculus/tartar deposition on the back side of your lower teeth. Get professional scaling/cleaning done or else the gap might just keep increasing. Also, it might add up to the current senstivity you are facing but it will solve with time. Regards...

Hello, Its mostly due deposition of plaque, calculus, tartar on the surfaces you are describing. The best solution to this is visit a dentist close by and get a simple procedure done called as scaling. In this the deposits on the teeth are removed with the help of ultrasonic vibrations. Also after that it is important to maintain so that there no deposits after that. For that kindly request your dentist to teach you proper brushing and flossing techniques. If there are gaps in lower your front teeth then if your dentist advises you will have to maintain them with the help of an interdental brush. Hope this information helps you. Hi, the problem which you have described is suggestive of tartar on the back side of your lower front teeth which has caused space and is irritating your tongue. You just need scaling done by your dentist and the problem should subside. Meanwhile for sensitivity, you can use any anti sensitivity toothpaste. Regards
