Hello, I understand your concern — gallstones are a common problem and can cause severe pain, especially at night or after fatty meals. Unfortunately, once stones form, there is no reliable medicine that can permanently dissolve or remove them. Some medicines (like ursodeoxycholic acid) may help in very select cases, but they work only for small cholesterol stones, take months to years, and pain usually continues during treatment. Advice • Avoid oily, fried, and heavy meals, as these trigger gallbladder contractions and pain. • Eat smaller, lighter meals through the day. • Stay well hydrated. What to Monitor • Frequency and severity of pain episodes. • Any fever, vomiting, or yellowing of eyes/skin. Management At present, surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) is the only definitive treatment for gallstones that cause symptoms. Until then, dietary control and pain relief are the main measures. When to consult immediately • If pain becomes very severe or constant. • If you develop fever, chills, jaundice, or repeated vomiting. • If the pain does not settle even with simple measures. 👉 For a personalized treatment plan and to discuss whether medicines can be tried in your specific case, please connect with me on Practo or WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician

If one has Stones of size > 2mm & symptomatic , we usually recommend to have surgery , Lap. Cholecystectomy , Unless the stones are removed your symptoms will not be relieved , Pain Medicine will take off your pain but not the  gallstones Cause of your problem , you will get pains again & again
Next Steps
Gallstones have complications , cholecystitis, cholangitis , sepsis , Gallstones ileus , Carcinoma if not removed ,
Health Tips
Don't go for alternative medicine or even Allopathic medicinal management. it's has a Surgical Treatment only , laproscopic Sx are less invasive & have faster recovery postop

No medicine as such. You can monitor your eating habits to which the pain starts. Avoid spicy, oily, fried foods. Take clean, nutritious diet. Proper water intake. Take a walk after your meals.

There is .. but writing simple drugs without proper history is not good for patients many times... specially when you have acute big problem like this . Medicine is UDCA 300mg BD ... And antispasmodics . But let me warn you one thing.. small stones can sometimes move to small bile ducts and can cause more pain later on.. just cause they are small don't postpone surgery. It's minimal invasive now a days with advanced machines..so I still say go for surgery.. don't feel anxious one time or other many of us go through some kind of surgery.
Next Steps
here surgery offers better results.. that's truth from medicine guy ..
