Namaste! I completely understand your concern as a parent — finding out your young child has a gallstone can be very worrying. Let me guide you. First, an important note: A 7mm gallstone in a 5.5 year old child is relatively uncommon and needs careful evaluation. Before any medication, a few things must be assessed: ∙ Is the stone causing symptoms? (pain, vomiting, jaundice, fever) ∙ What type of stone? (cholesterol, pigment, mixed) ∙ Any underlying cause? (hemolytic conditions, dietary factors) Ayurvedic perspective: In Ayurveda, gallstones correlate with Pittashmari — caused by imbalanced Pitta and poor fat metabolism. Herbs like Punarnava, Shilajit, Varunadi Kashayam and Arogyavardhini Vati have shown good results in dissolving small stones in adults. However — for a child this young, I would strongly advise: 1. First consult a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to rule out any serious underlying cause 2. Ayurvedic treatment can work beautifully as supportive or complementary therapy alongside 3. Never start any medication — Ayurvedic or allopathic — without proper in-person examination of the child Diet plays a big role — low fat, no fried foods, adequate hydration and warm water habits help prevent stone growth. Please feel free to book a consultation so I can guide you with a safe, child-appropriate Ayurvedic plan alongside your pediatrician’s advice.

Sir, Please make your health a real priority. Seeking treatment for a gallbladder stone over chat alone will not truly help—you need a proper evaluation. In Ayurveda, understanding your Prakriti (body constitution) and the exact dosha imbalance is essential to treat the condition effectively. Gallbladder stones are not the same for everyone. Based on their nature: • Kaphaj and Pittaj stones can often be managed and even resolved with proper Ayurvedic treatment. • Vataj (oxalate-type) stones are comparatively more challenging. We offer a structured 3-month Ayurvedic protocol that focuses on addressing the root cause, not just the stone. Also, it’s important to understand—removing the gallbladder is not the same as curing the problem. Once removed, it cannot be restored. So, if there’s a possibility to preserve the organ and treat the condition naturally, that path deserves serious consideration. Take a well-informed decision, and choose a treatment approach you can follow with full commitment.
