My wife have 3 gal bladder stones of 6 mm ,7 mm and 8mm...doctor suggests surgery...I want to know is it not cure by medicine and which doctor is doing the surgery -surgical gastrology or general surgery..her age is 31..

General Surgeon/ sugical gastro can treat the disease and its done only by removing the Gall bladder. Cholecystectomy preferably go for Laparoscopic removal for faster healing and better recovery
