Frozen buttocks and upper thighs
I have been having this frozen buttocks and upper thighs. I find is very painful while sleeping and sitting. I cannot bend comfortably at knees and get a stretch in the upper thighs (like a hamstring).

Likely cause of the problem that you are suffering from is either a pinched nerve in the back or a sprain in the hamstring muscle. Needs clinical evaluation and orthopedic consult regarding the same.

Probably muscle spasm of back or nerve getting pinched at lower spine Please consult an orthopedist

It may be postural Pl take anti inflammatory medication and do stretch exercise
