Frequent swollen feet, legs, ankles. Especially when I sit for long hours in office. Is this serious prob to worry about? Any suggestion how to improve on it.

The reason could be anything. Most probably varicose veins due to prolonged sitting or hanging down posture which will be reduced after lying down for a while.
But U need to check with your physician to look for a routine checkup to ruleout hypertension and other rare causes

keep moving around every now and then. keep your feet onto a stool or something rather than hanging them. use compression stockings
do physiotherapy to help your calf pumpup the blood
