Fractured wrist with one slab on top
It has been 6 days since I fractured my wrist. The doctor put one slab of cast onto of my left arm. I was given a small painkiller and an anti-vomiting medicine. So far, this cast is working alright. I wonder if I can wait until next week to get another x-ray and get it re-dressed. Thanks!

Usual fracture healing time is about 4 to 6 weeks. We have to x ray it again and again to see alignment in slab if going for non operative management. I would insist on following protocol your doctor has prescribed
