After a fall , pain in back . Doctor told for rest and application of cold pain and some pain relievers but pain is not improving. What to do?

If it is fracctur e coccyx as you said it takes 2 to 3 months until the pain settles down with fibrous union .you have to be patient before these things settle down. Otherwise see a spinal Surgeon

Use soft seat
Take a sitz bath ( take a tub and fill it with lukewarm water and seat inside after removing clothes , keep on adding hot water as suitable , do it morning and evening for 5 days and review)
