Foreskin Chafing

Since you had balanitis 8 months ago and are now experiencing redness and pain over the glans when retracting the foreskin, it is important to identify the underlying cause rather than simply treating the symptoms.
A few questions would help me understand your condition better:
Is the redness present all the time or only after retracting the foreskin?
Do you have pain while passing urine or during intercourse?
Is there any discharge, foul smell, cracks, or ulcers?
Is the foreskin tight or difficult to retract?
What is your fasting blood sugar and HbA1c? Prediabetes can increase the risk of recurrent inflammation and fungal infections.
Have you recently used any soaps, antiseptics, lubricants, or topical creams?
