Hi doctor, I'm curious to know if a person diagnosed with kidney stones can eat dragon fruit.. I read that Dragon fruit contains oxalates, which can contribute to the formation of kidney stones in some people.

To prevent calcium oxalate stone formation, limit high-oxalate foods like currants, strawberries, spinach, and tea. Pair oxalate-rich foods with calcium-rich options, such as adding cheese to spinach salad or incorporating nuts and berries into yogurt to reduce the risk of kidney stones.
