Hi, You can contact me for a personalised diet plan. A normal protein, moderate carbohydrates (Preferable complex carbohydrates than simple carbohydrates), low fat, adequate vitamins , minerals and high fibre diet is recommended to bring the blood sugar level normal and meet the body requirements ( energy and nutritional requirements).

Have small frequent meals. Try to have six meals in a day. Maintain proper food intervals. More than 4 hours of food gap is not suggested. Never skip any meal. Include whole grain cereals, pulses and legumes, nuts and seeds, yogurt, fruits, plenty of leafy greens and other vegetables, egg whites or soya or other proteins adequately as per the personal choice ( vegan or non vegetarian). Daily walk for 45 minutes.

Hi After waking up in the morning can drink a glass of warm water or overnight soaked methi water or cinnamon tea without sugar or green tea without sugar or honey can be taken upon rising and brisk walk about 30 mins to 45 mins. For breakfast can consume rice based items in very limited portions.. Can take fruit salad with below mentioned fruits that are better tolerated for diabetics..in the mid morning time.. Include Low GI foods that are complex carbohydrates like brown rice, whole wheat flour with added bran, oats, barley, rye, buckwheat, millets etc.. Consumption of moderate plant proteins like lentils, legumes, low fat dairy, including omega 3 and 6 rich foods in daily diets like flaxseeds, chia seeds, til seeds, walnuts, almonds, pista, high fiber from diet.. seasonal fruits and vegetables except roots and tubers in vegetables and some fruits like apples, citrus fruits, pears, guava, watermelon, musk melon, cantaloupe, kiwi, semi ripe papaya, pomogranate, grapes and other fruits that are not so sweet can be taken ..and other fruits not mentioned to be avoided completely..for diabetics.

well balanced diet, small frequent meals with limited portion sizes, high fiber diet, complex carbohydrates to be taken not less than 100 g and not more than 300 g in a day, enough water intake around 2 to 3 litres per day, consuming gourd family vegetables, especially bittergourd ..are all essential with respect to diet.. coming to lifestyle..an active Lifestyle is very important like walking , yoga, aerobics, surya namaskar, pranayama and meditation for keeping stress levels under control,  taking steps up down ...all these to be done on all the days of the week without fail.. early dinner, a gap of 2 hrs between dinner and night sleep is mandatory, whole broken wheat upma with lots of vegetables to be taken for dinner..with less oil..
