Finger swollen pus inside
I have swollen finger around cuticle and nearby area. Pus is developing. There is pain and inflammation. Dr has given Augmentin duo 625 mg twice a day for 5 days Bifilac capsule twice a day for 5 days Pan 40 mg twice a day 5 days Zerodol twice a day for 2 days Should i proceed? Is antibiotic a lot of dose? Plz respond. Thanks.

Please see a hand surgeon or atleast a general surgeon and incision and drainage surgery .. this is just plain wrong to give antibiotics when there is an obvious pus filled area! ... For proper solution get a incision drainage done.. if you are still doubtful consult online and send a photo mam!.. it's unacceptable to not do surgery when there is clear sign of pus like this

Antibiotic dose is adequate. You should take medicines for 1 week. If pus still persists then go for incision and drainage of Pus by local Surgeon .
