Greetings
Apply a cold compress wrapped in a cloth for 10 to 15 minutes to reduce swelling and numb the pain.
• Wash any minor skin breaks gently with soap and water instead of using unprescribed medicated creams.
• Keep the injured finger elevated above the level of the heart to prevent throbbing and fluid buildup.
• Monitor the finger closely for severe swelling, a misshapen appearance, or dark purple bruising under the nail.
• Check if she can gently move and bend the finger without experiencing extreme, debilitating pain.
• Consult a pediatrician if you suspect a fracture, or if the pain and swelling worsen over time

Rather than cream i would want you to get an X-ray done and show to a doctor if there s any underlying fracture, start a medicine for reducing swelling , apply ice pack, and keep hand elevated and try not to move much
If there is an open cut you can apply t-bact ointment. Cold compresses and look for the mobility of finger. If in pain kindly consult for direct examination
I need to ask few more questions before answering your query.
