Finger bruised
Good noon doctor , my daughter finger got struck in drawer and she had bruised finger now blood pooled under nail i think so urgent pls help me now what to apply any ointment or cream?

An ointment or cream will not treat blood trapped beneath the nail plate from a crush injury.
Apply a cold compress wrapped in a towel for 15 minutes at a time to minimize immediate swelling.
Keep her injured hand elevated above heart level as much as possible to reduce painful throbbing.
