Filling with miracle mix
Hi, I had amalgam filling in lower 6th teeth for last 15 years, on the side of that teeth there was a cavity. When I visited dentist, he suggested for filling and then he filled it with miracle mix. How is the material strength and how long it may last? Also doctor mentioned that in case pain comes the teeth might need RCT. I want to avoid RCT or extraction. Thanks pls suggest

Hi. Miracle mix has good strength,it has a good life as well,it depends on how you maintain it. If you experience pain, you can avoid extraction but not RCT. RCT should be followed by crown. Hope your question is answered

Miracle mix is a good restoration. If the cavity is deep, then there are chances of pain  after restoration. So as your doctor has suggested you, if you feel any pain. Do get x ray done and if required,  go for the treatment as required.
