Fever- since 2 days
Hello Doctor, My friend has fever since 2 days and it is coming and going. His whole day is so weak and he has body-ache also he sometimes works in night shift and he is not able to sleep in daytime having lots sleep issues.

Intermittent fever with body ache and weakness for 2 days could be viral fever, dengue, or malaria — especially with disrupted sleep and possible mosquito exposure. Night shift work also weakens immunity and can worsen recovery.
Next Steps
Get CBC, dengue NS1 antigen, and malaria test done. Take paracetamol 500mg for fever, stay well hydrated, and rest as much as possible. Avoid ibuprofen until dengue is ruled out. If fever continues beyond 3 days or worsens, visit a doctor in person. Consult me on Practo for further guidance.
