Fever from last 8 days
Hi I have done typhoid dengue CBC malaria test all are normal but having high fever from last 8 days. Only CRP is raised to 28 , what other tests can I do to diagnose the condition?

There are almost 100 reasons behind the cause of fever. To diagnose the exact cause you need to consult a physician where he will try to diagnose depending on the complaints you have and will examine you for clues. Depending on the clinical information he might do investigations to confirm the diagnosis. Typhoid, dengue, cbc can only give the right information only if done on the right time. For example even if you have typhoid the report will come positive only after 2 weeks of the infection, before that the report will always be negative. And in most infections cbc will invariably normal.

Hi I'm Dr.S.R.Raveendran If you can share the symptoms along with fever will be useful for diagnosis,  CRP will be raised almost all fever patients. It denote there is a inflammatory issue in your body . Kindly check for lapto , ultrasound abdomen,  urine culture
