Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician Hello, Getting wet in the rain and prolonged exposure to cold can sometimes lead to infections like the common cold or flu, which might explain your high fever and runny nose. Here are a few suggestions to help you recover: Rest as much as possible and stay hydrated. Take over-the-counter fever reducers like paracetamol if needed to manage fever and discomfort. Use saline nasal sprays or steam inhalation to relieve nasal congestion. Avoid exposure to cold or damp environments until you recover fully. If symptoms worsen, or if you develop difficulty breathing, persistent high fever beyond 3 days, or chest pain, please seek medical attention promptly. If you want, you can share more details about your symptoms, and I can guide you further. Take care and get well soon! Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician

You are showing symptoms of acute viral rhinitis. It usually resolves itself but secondary bacterial infection can occur and prolong recovery.
Next Steps
a combination of antipyretics, decongestants and antibiotics would aid in a quick recovery. if you need a prescription you may connect directly.
