Most of the time cough cold, fever are viral in origin
They may subside by 3 -7 days
No need of any medication if mild
If fever above 100 need fever medicine (paracetmol)
If cough and cold then need steam inhalation, nasal decongestant drops
And cough syrp or drops as per babys
Cough condition (wet or dry).
Keep ur baby well hydrated in cough cold fever episode
If decreased urine output, refusal to feed, decreased activity
Then need consultation with nearest pediatrician.

Give just paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
If mild,just give steam inhalations for cold and use decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down.
If not improving OR accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing or breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,consult your paediatrician or me.
