How much paracetamol can we give to a patient having fever of. 100 F?650 mg already given fever came down from 102.5 to 100.5..how much time more should we wait until next paracetamol administration

Dose of paracetamol ranges between 650 mg to 1 gm depending on the weight of the patient,it could be given every 6-8 hours depending on the body temperature.

The maximum dose of paracetamol per day, in 24hours is 4000mg, if you exceed more than 4000mg, patient might develop toxicity, but at home we generally do not even give near to 3000mg
But it also depends on the patient body weight and clinical condition of the patient
