Fertility treatment
I have been trying to conceive since last 2 months. I was prescribed letrozol 2 .5 mg and then next month 5 mg. doctor prescribed me letrozol 7.5 mg for the 3 rd month. after taking the medicine for 2 months now can I skip this month and will start the medicine from next month again. Please suggest.

Please consult with your Gynaecologist who is treating you for infertility. To my knowledge there is nothing known as rebound phenomenon in the induction of Ovulation. If 7.5 mg Letrozol did not work it is illogical to think that stopping all treatment will work. Of course miracles do happen. You have increased your dosage of Letrozol too fast.

Yes you can skip and start the next month You also need investigations to understand the reason for the inability to conceive HSG to see if your tubes are open or closed AMH levels to understand ovarian function thyroid and prolactin levels and seman analysis of the husband
