Feels hot but no fever
Hi doctor. My 8 year old son body is always hot to touch. But his temp is around 97 to 97.9 . He is normal and active. Is there anything to be worried. Please advise

No need to worry. Normal temp is 98.6; but it can range from 96 to 99.5 F armpit

Hi,Not a issue,any temperature at 100.4 or above can ne considered as fever. Tq

It's not fever ..if it's more than 99.5 f then it's fever.

Hi. If thermometer doesnt show more than 99.5 in underarm it is not fever. Dont worry
