The feeling of something stuck in the throat, blocked ears, and gas release can often happen due to cold, throat irritation, or acidity (gastritis/acid reflux). During cold, congestion in the nose and throat can also give a “lump in throat” sensation and block the ears.
Next Steps
Take plenty of warm fluids and steam inhalation to relieve throat and ear blockage. Do warm salt-water gargles 2–3 times a day. Avoid spicy, oily, and late-night meals to reduce acidity. If nose block is there, a saline nasal spray can help.
Health Tips
If symptoms persist for more than a week, worsen, or if you develop difficulty swallowing, severe pain, or fever, then kindly see an ENT doctor for a proper examination.

Hello, feeling something stuck in your throat along with gas release, blocked ears, and cold symptoms is usually due to a common cold or post-nasal drip. Mild acid reflux can also contribute. Stay hydrated, rest, try steam inhalation, and avoid heavy or spicy meals. See a doctor if pain worsens, fever appears, or symptoms persist.
