Hi there. First of all , I would like to say that it is okay to feel low sometimes. It is as normal as feeling happy. Is there any sudden change in your life that has caused this change in you? Have you seen any medical specialist for the same ? Suggest you to have family support and communicate it with them. Try to do simple relaxation exercises like focus on your breathing. Try writing down positive thoughts at the end of the day. Seek out for psychological and psychiatric consultation for further management. You can also reach out to me through practo app for further management of your issues. Regards

Hello practo user I can understand your concerns regarding your overall well being and health . It seems that you are a sensitive person and there might be some past negative events which could be contributing to the low mood . You can try and practice deep breathing and meditation on a regular basis to help with the negative thoughts . Go for exercise and walk to maintain your health both physician and mentally . Try and talk to a close family member or friend and spend quality time with them . It is advisable that you seek help from a clinical psychologist for a better understanding of your case and formulation of a personalized treatment plan through regular counseling sessions. You can also reach out to me though the practo app for any further help or guidance

A lot more questions need to be asked to rule out depression, like is it just the sad mood or do you also feel hopeless ? Did something disturbing happen recently ? Are you sleeping well ? And many such questions.
Next Steps
Please see a psychiatrist in person or consult one online. I am practicing in Mumbai, in case you decide to visit a psychiatrist.

I understand sudden change in your mood without any reason can make you worry. Women's are sensitive and so prone to  emotional instability . If possible approach a counselor they undergo a deep evaluation , discover what is affecting you  and will equip you with coping skills. Self help tips Nutritive food intake Healthy Food intake plays a good role. Dark green leafy vegetables, berries ,omega3 fatty acids, walnuts, avacado….all these help brain function run smoothly. physical Exercise : releases endorphins,( a chemical that produces feeling of joy ) the body’s very own natural antidepressant. . Exercise stimulates the release of many of the brain chemicals which are in low supply when someone is battling anxiety. Yoga and meditation : Very effective , deep breathing  intakes a good proportion of oxygen in your body and oxygenates the blood cells well thus boosting your mood. Deep breathing also slows down the release of stress hormone . I hope this helps I give all kind of counseling services online as well as face to face. Simoni shah Mental Health counselor.
