Feeling anxious
Hi..I am feeling really anxious about the pandemic. I am all the time thinking about the increasing numbers and cases and if me and family will get affected. And this is kind of preventing me from doing my work and I am unable to engage in anything that I used to enjoy previously. Kindly guide me in some strategies that I can undertake to stop this.

Hi, I understand your anxiety and I understand these are difficult times. To feel better you can think of enjoying time with family. The pandemic has created a lot of anxiety, but there are ways to feel calm by Being kind to yourself. Indulging in activities considered relaxing such as listening to music, or watching a funny video. Get into a regular exercise routine. Exercise is known to reduce anxiety and depression. Relaxation practice such as deep breathing and meditation will help you feel calm. You can consult a psychologist who will help and guide you with ways to feel calm.

Hi...We are all in this together and we need to respond with resilience. This virus is selective in fatality. It searches a weaker host and then kills it and moves to another. Vaccination greatly reduces the risk of fatality. We need to physically isolate ourselves from high human density places and follow covid appropriate behaviours (masking, sanitisation, social/physical distance).
