Feeding water.
Hi, Today while feeding water to my 8 month old in open cup, he got cough and  water came out through nose and mouth. He cried suddenly shaking his head and tapping his hand on his cheek and ear. I was very much afraid and i tapped on his back and after 2 mins he came back to normal. He had a burp and then started smiling and playing. Please advise is there any problem to my kid bcoz of this I feel guilty whether its my mistake. I should have fed him slowly.

The common mistake of care taker is feeding the child on lying down position. Always feed the child when fully awake and in erect position

If such episodes are frequent then consult a Paediatrician.
