Not taking feed today
Hi
My daughter is 3.5 months old.
She is on mixed feeding.
Her birth weight was 2.9kg
Current weight is 6 kg
Today she is not taking feed neither breastmilk nor formula but she is active.
What could be the reason?

Her weight gain is very appropriate and as above mentioned about not taking feeds but being active that is normal few times. Do not force feed, look for hunger cues, if abdomen is hard, monitor urine output and stools, if there is vomiting. If any of above is present consult your paediatrician. Otherwise it’s normal and feed her on demand.

Your daughter's weight gain is excellent, and her active nature is very reassuring.
Around 3–4 months, babies become highly aware of their surroundings, often leading to temporary distraction-based feeding refusal.
Other common reasons include minor discomfort from early teething, an oncoming cold, or a nursing/bottle strike.
Avoid forcing her to feed, as pressure can inadvertently lead to a more severe feeding aversion.
Try feeding her in a dark, quiet room or offering feeds when she is relaxed or drowsy.
Monitor her hydration through wet diapers; consult a pediatrician immediately if she becomes lethargic or stops urinating.

A baby who skips a feed but stays active and alert is usually fine for a short while. This can happen with teething, a mild stuffy nose, or just a fussy day.
Next Steps
Offer feeds more often in smaller amounts today, and check her nose isn't blocked and her gums aren't swollen. Watch her wet diaper count too.
Health Tips
Please have her seen by her pediatrician the same day if she refuses feeds for several hours, seems unusually sleepy, or has fewer wet diapers than usual.
