From past 2 years I have been suffering from anxiety and depression the main reason for anxiety and depression is I keep thinking that I will die soon or in future. Whenever I heard someone die due to this problem. I regularly think about this and in my mind these feelings goes around. What should I do for this should I consult a psychiatrist..I don't want to go on medication because my friend told me that medication makes ur anxiety worse...

Hello greetings!! You seem to have fear of death with no obvious reasons which itself is due to anxiety caused by preoccupation of getting sick or about death! Medications are available to treat this condition and has helped a number of people to lead a normal and happier life. Medication does not worsen. Usual course when u take any ssri s is that on the first week there will be a sudden improvement and on the following week u may face a minor worsening in response which recovers twice as fast as the first week. If your anxiety worsens a little than first week it means drugs have started working. Don't worry
