I have been suffering from fear of alone, dark and ghosts or supernatural entities. I'm 25 and still can't sleep alone at night. I have to sleep with someone and if try to sleep alone, I have to keep lights on. When I sleep alone, my heart throbs and I got fear and can't sleep until morning or when daylight enters my room. Due to this, my daily routine is affected.

How you respond to your fear decides what it will do to you! If responded well, fear can be beneficial, that is what its purpose is! You definitely need to learn how to respond to your fears so that they wont trouble you anymore. For short term you may need some medications but for longterm, it is you who need to learn. And for changing your learnt negative responses to the positive ones, you can take a help from a mental health proffesional preferably a team of a Psychiatrist and a Psychologist working together!
