Ocd related rabies fear
So recently i have been getting alot of rabies news and that has scared me alot because 2 years prior one cat claw scratched me and i didnt had the proper info for vaccination and now i keep feeling scared what if something happens. I need a nuetral doctor opinion should i go for vaccination now after 2 years or should rest thid fear

Hi. Recent rabies news can definitely trigger fear about an old incident. Medically, if a cat scratch happened 2 years ago and you’ve been completely well since then, there is no indication to take the rabies vaccine now for that old exposure. This sounds more like anxiety being triggered by the news than a current medical risk. Try to let this fear pass rather than seeking repeated reassurance.
