OCD Incurable diseases(Presently Rabies)
Hi I came through a domestic puppy some months back who had licked my hands. Although he was vaccinated and there was 0 chance of infection, I did a mistake that I started googling, because of OCD. By this, I came across the symptoms, exposure and possible worst of the cases. What worse I did was saw videos of rabies patients. This all happened some 4-5 months ago. With every incident linked to rabies, I went ahead and took 5 shots as a precaution. Still, my anxiety never went off and again I have started to worry almost every encounter like moisture, always conscious that a dog is not nearby, thinking that a dog is licking me(just by looking at it), too conscious when passing by a dog, even cats, rats and squirrel. I an afraid to go out of my house and no idea how will I be able to resume back my normal life. Any leads? As doctors come across such cases, any way how to calm down the mind. Please help anyone.
