Facial palsy post trauma occurs most commonly due to Temporal bone fracture involving Cranial nerve 7 In your case, it appears there have been B/L temporal bone fractures. Right side temporal bone fracture might be Linear, undisplaced which is why didnot appear well on ct brain- and since its undisplaced- your palsy might have recovered well in about 6 weeks Left side temporal bone needs to be evaluated and assess the injury of left Facial nerve.
