Facial Swelling due to a painful and extracted tooth needs to be looked ASAP,
Swelling can rapidly spread to other spaces like under the eye if upper tooth, under the tongue & neck ,for lowers, which can even compromise airway.
Will need antibiotics ,Root canal treatment or removal of tooth with or without drainage of swelling depending on the size .
