Pain on left side of face
Hello - I had a zygomatic implant about 9 months back. Suddenly, since yesterday, i am having swelling in my cheeks and pain on the left side of the face. My dentist confirmed that OPG is normal, but the pain is still there. What could be the reason?

As you know the Zygomatic Implants are placed throught the sinus cavity of your face . There are numerous studies that showed the association of sinus i fection with Zygomatic Implants even thought that is very rare in instances.Kindly get a cbct and CBC done and share it ..we should be able to get a correct diagnosis

Check whether there is sinus infection associated. Also check for any decayed or periodontically compromised teeth.based on clinical and opg findings, treatment can be given.
