Use blood circulation stocking (cotton compression stocking) which are very thin and appear like normal socks up to tight.
I found it in ontex cotton compression stocking.
Do not buy a varicose vein stockings.
Precautions :Do not stand for long periods of time.
While sleeping place 2 pillows under your ankle and lie.
Move your toes and ankle up and down most of the time.
Consult an cardiology once - tests will be carried out. Some times it may be due to myocardial infraction. Do worry but just check it out.
Sugar test also should be done.

Swelling of the legs could be due to many reasons like liver disease, renal disease, protein deficiency, cardiac abnormalities, abdominal swelling venous insufficiency. You will have to evaluated for all these. So kindly consult a general physician with your previous reports for further evaluation.
