Enlarged ovary and ovarian cyst
From which week of pregnancy is it advisable to remove a ovarian cyst does it affect the baby ? Current size of ovary 6cm , ovarian cyst size of 4cm , suspecting a mild torsion . Pls reply

If a mild torsion is suspected then you should keep your fingers crossed. You may have to go for an emergency ovariotomy. Otherwise a 4 cm ovarian cyst doesn't need to be removed in its own right.

Unlikely to cause torsion at this size mam. But if there is torsion then it's surgical emergency mam, at any pog u will have to go for surgery mam.

Ovarian cyst of size 6-7 cm or more needs to Removed in pregnancy that too between 14 to 26 weeks. But in case of torsion emergency surgery needs to be done

In pregnancy it is not advisable to remove any ovarian cyst if not causing any problem In case of torsion you definitely have to go for an emergency surgery as left untreated it can be detrimental
