**Specialist Doctor's Response:**  **Re: Intermittent Elbow Pain (Possible Nerve Swelling)**  Dear Patient,  Your **intermittent left elbow pain** could stem from nerve compression (e.g., **cubital tunnel syndrome**), arthritis, or tendinitis. Here’s a structured approach:  --- ### **Likely Causes & Symptoms**  1. **Cubital Tunnel Syndrome** (Ulnar Nerve Entrapment):     - **Pain/numbness** in the elbow, radiating to the **ring/little finger**.     - Worsens with elbow bending or pressure (e.g., leaning on it).  2. **Tennis/Golfer’s Elbow**:     - Tendon inflammation (pain with gripping or wrist movements).  3. **Osteoarthritis**:     - Age-related joint wear (stiffness, grinding sensation).  --- ### **Self-Care Measures**  ✔ **Nerve Gliding Exercises**: Gentle stretches (search "ulnar nerve glide").  ✔ **Elbow Pad**: Avoid pressure on the nerve during sleep/activities.  ✔ **Ice/Warm Compress**: 15 mins, 2–3x/day for inflammation.  --- ### **When to Consult?**  - If pain persists >2 weeks or causes **weakness/numbness**.  - For **diagnostic tests** (X-ray, Nerve Conduction Study) or **steroid injections **For a detailed evaluation and treatment plan, contact me on WhatsApp**: **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two**
