Duration of braces treatment
My lower front teeth hits the back of the upper front teeth. So my upper teeth have to be moved forward and lower teeth have to be moved inwards. I am 20 years old. There are no other issues in my teeth. Only the hitting is the issue. How long should it take? Realisitic answers will be appreciated. I have attached the picture if that helps. The duration of the treatment will determine if I am going for braces or not.

hi, usually your lower teeth should rest beneath your upper teeth, but in your case as u said your lower teeth are touching your upper teeth and it is evident in the pick which you have posted .so, the problem here is with the bite ,your upper middle teeth are slightly positioned mesially (inward) and your lower teeth looks slightly crowded too.... if the bite is not corrected ,there would be excessive bone loos in your front teeth which results in loosening of your teeth in future. functional correction is important ,consult your dentist and get your orthodontic treatment.
